Siggw is a time to celebrate new growth and the awakening of the bear. Let's get together to enjoy a feast!
This gathering will feature important seasonal teachings and breakout sessions. We will have something for everyone, including a Kids' Corner. See the full schedule below.
We're hosting a Lusgnign Contest as part of the gathering! Enter your lusgnign or moon for a chance to win one of three prizes. Make sure to bring enough for 10 judges to sample, with a little extra if needed. There will be butter and molasses provided at the event. If possible, please register for the contest by calling 418-788-2248 and leaving your name with our receptionist.
This event is a collaboration between the Listuguj Mi'gmaq Government, the Listuguj Education Directorate and the Listuguj Community Social Services Directorate.
